GO VIKINGS! :)
We love our Vienna Vikings American football team! haha!...so funny right? to think that we have an american football league here in Austria! Actually there is a whole European league. It is so much fun to go to the games! There are alot of random Americans and Austrians mixed together. The coaches are all americans and there a few american players on the team...They have the craziest loudest fans cheering and with drums and horns! and even cheerleaders! yeahhh! It makes me miss cheerleading though when I see them:(I want to go out and dance with them! Today we played against Moskow, Russia and we totally crushed them. They never scored even one touchdown! Poor guys! We started to feel sorry for them in the end!

new apartment
I cannot wait to move into our new apartment in July! We snuck in the building that is still a "construction site" on Sunday and we peeked around!...Well they left the doors open so how could we resist!!! so great! We hope to meet many young couples, relax by the swimming pool and terrace on the roof and in the sauna. It feels more like a hotel! I cant wait to get out of this apartment building that is old, falling apart and with the grumpiest neighbors! Half of the apartment complex is already built and people are living there...it looked like pleasantville when we walked by, the people on the bottom floor who have gardens were all having family picnics...and people actually say hi to eachother when you walk by, which is not a normal thing to see in Vienna! It will be nice to have a 2nd bedroom so that visitors can stay with us (hint hint!)...I am really excited because it is a place we can call "ours!" My sis-inlaw also agreed that she feels like she moved in on "his" apartment. I feel the same! I moved in to an already furnished apartment. I decorated it a bit, but Christian picked out everything so I feel like it is still "His" and not totally mine!
I am really blabbing alot tonight...I think because my last blog was a week ago!

tough!
well I have been known since college times to "bring to life real disasters that you only think about could happen!"...that was during final exam week, when I slipped on ice and busted my eyebrow open...my RA was studying for a final exam and I ended up in the ER with some friends and my RA who all had final exams the next morning! That would just be something an RA would just talk about, but wouldnt really think it would really happen! I created a whole new "issue" at my college that now they have to have a special backup plan for! Only me!
so reminding myself of this incident years ago...today once again came up with another "disaster incident" while being a teacher. What would you do if the only teachers in sight were away on a field trip with their class for the day, and you felt sick and had to throw up in the middle of teaching your class? Sorry to bring up too much information, but well that was my life today! I felt kind of wierd all morning and it took every bit of energy to talk and teach today...I canceled some of my plans and had the kids do things they can do on their own so I could sit a little bit. They sensed something was wrong though because they know that I never do SIT DOWN! They read their stories they wrote to the class, blahblahblah and then they got into their reading partners for reading time...it was just then I finally lost it! I ran out of the room to the bathroom!...I came back just a few minutes later and acted as if I never left the room! The kids were so good and had no idea I was gone...Thank God!...but I felt so awful...I just prayed cus I didnt know what else to do...I felt a little better and just took it easy...well what a day not to feel good, cus Wednesdays I have an afterschool program called Homework club till 4:00! I just didnt know how I would do it!...I felt miserable and terrible and somehow I made it! But I am definitely bringing this subject up at the staff meeting on Friday! It is really scary to think about all these kids being alone with a teacher who doesn't feel good! When I told the other teachers today what I went through during the day, they said I will have no problem giving birth because I am tough! well I never thought I was tough, I kind of just do what I have to do no matter what! haha!...I took all kinds of medicine tonight and now I feel much better...it was something I ate last night...fish...hmm I think I will not be eating fish for a long time!

overwhelmed!
Busy life! I just got completely overwhelmed thinking about everything I have to do in the next 10 weeks! I say 10 weeks because that is when school is out!...yet sometime between now and then I have to pack up our whole apartment along with a million school things to do...I dont even know where to start to pack up our apartment!...I moved with an airplane to Austria and with a stuffed car back and forth to college...but how do I move from one apartment to another??? I think I am more scared to see how much stuff I really do have! For school, I have to plan the talent show, plan mothers day breakfast, write up grade reports and now we have to do a big space project because we won the "signatures in space" contest! pretty cool! out of 500 schools around the world, our little Austrian school won! Next year the astronauts will take up our signatures to space in the shuttle! yeahhh! ahhh so many things to do, I am so overwhelmed!...and yet I have to enjoy this beautiful summer weather now!...especially since I hear it is winter in the states!...
