i just luv that european style!
Christian and I had a much needed great weekend!...like I said before to people I love living in Vienna because it is a city for young people...there is so much to do! and everything is so easily accessible with public transportation here...
We did a couple outting with some friends and we went to the wine festival in Stammersdorf!...so cute! its still a part of Vienna-but its in the northern part of the city where the wine fields are...the little gardens with tables to sit at with vineyards in the distance and grapes hanging down above your head are so cute! there was music and dancing and you could just see the Austrian culture 100%...it was so fun...you can sit at a table as long as you want, there is no pressure no stressful waitresses-nothing...its just fun!...
and today we went up to a palace hotel for a brunch. This was a gift from my schooldirector for christmas last year...the weather was perfect...we sat on a terrace overlooking Vienna and vineyards and had wonderful food!...yum! including chocolate fondue!...tonight we went to a summer festival down the street from us in an old castle...you can hear the music blaring from our balcony!...we ran into some friends and had a great evening........then we stopped for italian gelato ice cream on the way home...that place is dangerously too close to our apartment!...
now I have to enjoy my last week of freedom...since school starts on Monday!...tomorrow i will go set up my classroom and organize things......i have to get everything ready before Shereen comes to visit for the weekend!...Shereen and I go back to 10th grade at montrose!...her family is around europe vacationing and she is staying longer for a few days to be with me!!! and I am going to give her the grand city tour!...luv ya reenabelle! can't wait to see you!
